All courses: Your Two year AHA card will be issued an E-card, as soon as possible  following completion of each classroom portion and/or AHA written test (where applicable).

All courses following the most current standards in accordance with American Heart Association 2020 recommendations.

HEARTSAVER CPR/AED COURSE

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that teaches adult, child & infant CPR & AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use.  This course will also teach you how to relieve choking on an adult, child & infant. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows Instructors to observe each student, provide feedback & guide the students learning of skills.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR & AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to & manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock & other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult, child & infant CPR & AED use.

BLS HEALTHCARE PROVIDER COURSE

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers classroom course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

This course is designed for people who need a CPR and AED class with job-related duties in emergency preparedness and response. (You would take this class vs. the layperson Heartsaver CPR and AED class, if you have patients, employed as a nurse, EMT, etc…). This is a CPR & AED course for healthcare professionals which covers 1 and 2 person Adult, Child & Infant CPR, the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on both a child & adult, choking (aka: Heimlich maneuver) for infants, children & adults, airway obstruction, bag valve mask as well as how to use a breathing barrier or pocket mask device. This includes nurses, military personnel, law enforcement & EMS personnel, EMT/Paramedic, EMT students, nursing students, firefighters, athletic trainers, massage therapists, dentists, CNA, LPN, business & industry response teams, lifeguards, flight attendants & others who must take rapid action in emergency situations.
